Great coffee and delicious curry, cozy café. Roast their own coffee beans and sell them in the shop

Really enjoyed this place. It’s new, clean, fantastic service and great unique food. Highly recommend you try their Italian Ramen; a cross between seafood pasta and an umami filled ramen bowl 🍲

Check in to your hotel and then walk down to this cafe. The fruit tea latte is really good as is the coffee. You might have to wait a bit but it’s worth it.

Cute cafe in Shima-onsen area. Their signature onsen mark coffee was nice and the atmosphere was relaxing too. Got to take the sofa seats :)

A relaxing cafe. He / she provides thing which had scrutinized. You should definitely try curry and seafood noodles that are popular for lunch!We recommend a counter on the second floor. You can see the riverside scenery from your seat. Fuka: The day when the snow fluttered in the wind and the fantastic scenery was seen.Lunch can be enjoyed with drinks and desserts.

Nice little traditional place to have lunch, especially if you arrive early for check-in to your Ryokan. Simple meals and drinks with English menu. I definitely recommend :) On the right side of the street pictured (coming from bus stop).

Very cute cafe with friendly staff. This is a wonderful place to sit down for some coffee and dessert. They also serve lunch items, which at times sell out because of their popularity.

A great place for late morning coffee, lunch, or a late afternoon beer. The home made sweets are delicious and go great with their "onsen mark cappuccino".Lunch is delicious, but they have a limited amount so get there before 14:30 to be on the safe side. Their menu is diverse selection of "new Japanese cafe food" consisting of curry, pasta, rice bowls along with a daily special. Be aware that the cafe is non-smoking between the hours of 11:00-15:00.I highly recommend having a late afternoon glass of wine or beer at the upstairs bar. The seating faces a window looking out across the river. The building is a renovated tailor's shop from 1950. The interior is charming and has a nice homely feel to it. Kashiwa-ya Cafe is a wonderful place to relax in Shima onsen.

Super sweet café that serves onsen coffee. Both the food and coffee was really good. If you sit on the second floor you have a great view of the river.
